Funny Story About This Mariachi Photo at Viaggio Winery

When I shoot weddings by myself I am pretty ADD. I have to be to keep from missing anything. I am in all directions. During Justin & Lisa’s wedding at Viaggio Winery I ran outside to my truck to get my laptop so I could setup the slideshow of images from the first half of the day. On my way back there was a Mariachi Band taking a picture in front of the entrance to Viaggio Winery with their point and shoot camera. I assumed that they were on their way into the reception in Viaggio Winery’s reception hall. What I did not know is that they had just finished playing. They played during the time I was taking photos of the wedding party and family. They must have only been on for 30 minutes because we did not take that long. It is easy to get great photos at Viaggio Winery. I really liked the photo that I took of the Mariachi Band so I put it in the slideshow. By the end of the night I noticed that I had not seen a Mariachi Band perform yet the photo had been in the slideshow the whole time. Nobody said anything to me about the Mariachi Band, in my head I felt embarrassed. Like I mentioned before, the Mariachi Band was suppose to be there so I quickly realized that I was not completely crazy. The most rediculous part of all is that I posted on Facebook and Twitter about how I mistakenly put the photo in the slideshow. It was not until later when the wedding DJ George of Sounds In Motion text messaged me with a photo of the itinerary that I never was shown with the words Mariachi Band on it. Awesome!

So here is the photo. I like the photo for it being something I captured while running back into the reception from the parking lot.
