Galletto Ristorante Wedding – Jake & Rachael

Such an exciting day! Jake & Rachael’s wedding was my first wedding of the year. My camera would not have known it because I have been pretty busy with a few projects and lots of engagement sessions.

I have known Jake and Rachael for a long time. The three of us have attended the same church for years. I was pretty excited when these two got together because they are both awesome people who I enjoyed being around. Jake and I have played countless games of ultimate frisbee over the past years. As a matter of fact, half of his groomsmen played ultimate frisbee with us also. When I first started going back to church, Rachael’s sister Jen was one of the first people I started hanging out with, so I got to know the rest of the Hunsinger family as well.

The day was super fast paced. The morning started off chill at Generations Salon but when the makeup artist didn’t show up things started to get a bit stressful for Rachael. Rachael ended up doing her own makeup, which looked amazing. Of course she has a lot of experience in that field. Galletto’s has an amazing wedding coordinator Cheryl, who I had to answer to so I made sure to keep things going. I really love working with her and Galletto’s so I tried my best with our super tight schedule to keep things moving. I even asked the wedding party not to get mad at me if I come across a little crazy (I was given 20 minutes between the ceremony and reception to get photos, Cheryl, because she is so amazing, was not mad at me when I took 25 minutes).

I am always really happy with what I capture but this time was even more so due to the time crunch. I love a challenge, this wedding was just that. To be honest, I wouldn’t have it any other way! I have had such a hard time narrowing down the number of photos I want to post. I started out with 98, got it down to 78 and my wife had to help me get it down to 38. It would have been less but I kept insisting that a few of them stay in the runnings to be posted. Enjoy!
