RX1R III Daily Photos & Initial Thoughts

I’m shooting daily photos with the RX1R III to see if it’s worth $5,100

I purchased the ultimate daily carry camera, the Sony RX1R III. It’s perhaps the most controversial camera Sony has released in a long time. Most YouTubers are complaining about the camera, but I’ve decided to carry it every day for 30 days and share the photos I capture before giving my verdict. Will you join me on this journey?

What to expect:

I will be uploading at least one photo that I capture with the RX1R III every day. I’ll also share the camera settings and any insights I have about using the camera.

The Photos:

Today I filmed my initial review of the camera and decided it would be fun to share the daily photos, so here are the four daily photos I’ve captured so far.

My Initial Thoughts Video will be live soon on the YouTube channel.

August 1st:

Captured this photo of my FX3 which was capturing a live performance of CeCe Frey

August 2nd:

250802 RX1RIII 2

1/2000 | F/2 | ISO 100

My daughter wanted a swing in the backyard so she made one.

August 3rd:

250803 RX1RIII 3 1

1/2000 | f/2 | ISO 160

The aged texture of the wood fence between our property lines always catches my attention.

August 4th:

250804 RX1RIII 4

1/250 | f/2 | ISO 125

Side view close-up of the 1998 Ford Ranger I fixed up for my son’s first car. I promise I will venture out further than my front yard for future photos. The weather has been pretty bad the past few days.

What would you like to see tested?

I have the entire month of August before filming my 30-day review, so if there is something you would like to see tested, please let me know and I will do my best to make it happen. Share that with me in the comments section of this post.

I hope you join me on this journey of discovering whether or not the RX1R III is the ultimate daily carry camera.
