The Silver GTR

I have been in love with this car since I first saw one. Before it came to the US it was called the Nissan Skyline and was not available in the US. Of course the old Skyline that I used to love can’t hold a candle to the new GTR. A friend of mine just so happens to own a GTR, a beautiful silver GTR. After months of saying we would go out and shoot some photos of the car we finally did. He was so kind as to drive.

We both didn’t really have a whole lot of time. I sent him a text at 12:30 this afternoon saying, “Let’s shoot that car!.” An hour and a half later we were taking photos. We did get a few good shots. I only took one light with me and it was a relatively clear day. I had taken pictures of my old truck years ago, but other then that I had never shot a car. The closest thing I have came to shooting a car is a limo in a wedding shot.

Here are a few of the shots that I think turned out pretty decent considering my lack of preparation.
