For the past five or so months I have had the same website up with for the most part the same images. I always battle with the need to have a super flashy website, it must be the web designer in me. I have found myself updating my blog much more often with photos and information because it is so much easier to update. I seem to get my iron in so many fires and it leaves me with little or no time to update some of my websites. Being a website designer, which is my Monday through Friday job, I often end up in the same shoes as the mechanic who’s car always breaks down because he doesn’t have the time to fix his own ride.
On my blog I have always posted images from any shoot that I do. On this blog I have weddings, families, engagements, food, and many other things. I post images from every wedding and event I shoot. I want people to see something from each client I have because I am proud of my work and love to display it. With my old website I found it cumbersome to get new images up. I will miss having a huge image on my front page and the large full screen bleed images in the gallery of my old site but I will enjoy the ease of getting my new stuff up for all of you to see.
I will probably be redesigning this blog to have a more edgy feel in the next few months. I have to get through April, May and June which are busy wedding months for me. If you have any thoughts or ideas for my website, please let me know!!
